Sam Thaiday has put a date on his retirement.
The Broncos hardman said Monday he would not seek a new contract when his current deal expires at the end of 2018.
The 32-year-old said he would not play at a rival club with coach Wayne Bennett confirming the veteran forward would not be offered an extension when his current deal expires.
Thaiday debuted for Brisbane in 2003 and helped the club claim the 2006 premiership.
