The Tigers prove their premiership credentials and the Swans bounce back.

The AFL community united as one in support of Adam Goodes during Round 18, with many players and fans alike paying tribute to the Swans legend.

Starting at The G on Friday night, Richmond proved they are premiership contenders with a stunning 18-point win over reigning premiers Hawthorn.

On Saturday, Geelong smashed the Lions 113-57, moving into eight in the process.

The Demons condemned Collingwood to its sixth-straight loss with a hard-fought 37-point win, with the Magpies' finals hopes now on life support.

The Swans' 52-point win over the Crows moved them into equal third, only behind Hawthorn on percentage.

At Etihad Stadium, North Melbourne smashed Carlton 118-54, while on the Gold Coast the Suns produced their best performance of the season, holding on for a draw with second-placed West Coast.

Three games on Sunday concluded round 18, with Port Adelaide beating St. Kilda 112-49.

The Bulldogs pressed their claims for a top-four spot, smashing a hapless Essendon side by 87 points.

Finally, Fremantle moved six points clear at the top of the competition ladder after beating GWS 84-63 in Perth.
