The three-time NBA champion was in Brisbane as a guest at the casino several years ago for a celebrity poker tournament.

Hodges was sat at his table alongside then Broncos teammate Karmichael Hunt and former Brisbane Lions player Jamie Charman.

Rodman, who is famous for is flamboyant behavior, took his place at the poker table much to the delight of Hodges, Hunt and Charman.

But it didn’t take long for Rodman to show his true colours.

“Everyone was waiting to meet Dennis Rodman because we were big basketball fans and he got to play alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, so, we were looking forward to asking him some questions,” Hodges said.

“We were sitting at the table getting ready to play poker and Jamie Charman reaches over and tried to shake his hand and Dennis looked the other way and full-on brushed him.

“Everyone crapped themselves laughing and tried to introduce themselves.

“He (Rodman) was that arrogant he put all his chips in at once and he didn’t even look at his cards and went all in, jumped up, and walked to the bar and left.”

Hodges, famous for some niggle of his own, did not let Rodman’s superstar status get in the way of an epic spray.

“We ended up seeing him a few hours later and we were all full (inebriated) and we were giving it to him!” Hodges said.

“Literally bagging him. We had to. He’s come to our country and won’t even shake someone’s hand.

“Tosser.”
