Wests Tigers will bring Mahe Fonua and Corey Thompson back to NRL in 2018
Wests Tigers have signed Mahe Fonua and Corey Thompson for next season.
The two outside backs are both currently playing in the English Super League, Fonua for Hull FC and Thompson for Widnes Vikings.
Fonua, a 24-year-old Tongan international, scored a try as Hull won the 2016 Challenge Cup and previously played 50 games for Melbourne Storm in the NRL.

Thompson, 27, is also returning to Australia after starting his career at Canterbury Bulldogs where he played 35 games between 2013 and 2015.
Wests Tigers head coach Ivan Cleary said: “Both Mahe and Corey have had strong careers in the English Super League and we look forward to them bringing that experience back to Wests Tigers
“We’re confident that their overseas experience coupled with their previous successful stints in the NRL will be a positive addition to our playing squad.”
Fonua and Thompson will join the Tigers for pre-season training ahead of the 2018 NRL season.
