Lewis Hamilton was unchallenged in the first French Grand Prix in 10 years, the reigning world champion making the most of the dramas which befell Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas and Ferrari rival Sebastian Vettel after the latter hit Bottas' Mercedes in the opening lap squeeze.
