Daniel Ricciardo dominated Thursday practice for the Monaco Grand Prix, the Australian setting the fastest time of the day with Red Bull Racing team-mate Max Verstappen second fastest. Ricciardo goes into qualifying on Saturday confident that the Red Bull team’s impressive pace advantage will be enough to hold out the Mercedes and Ferrari teams as they employ their stronger qualifying engine modes.
