Goulburn gun and Australian development team player Jake Staines is sure to be a hit with the local fans as he looks to impress in his home town.

The tournament begins with the Open Mens’ and Open Womens’ competitions which will both see representatives from Australia’s national teams competing on the floor from 4-7 January.

The Mens’ and Womens’ Under-21 divisions run from 9-12 January, the Boys’ and Girls’ Under-13 Carnival run from 12-15 January, the Boys’ and Girls’ Under-15 Carnival run from 16-20 January and finally the Mens’ and Womens’ Under-18 competitions run from 21-25 January.

In the Open division, national men’s team members including Troy Sutherland (ACT), Alexander McKay (NSW) and Heath Ogilvie (NSW) will be using the tournament as a chance to show off their skills before they head off the 2018 World Cup in February in Germany.

The national women’s squad will have strong representation throughout the tournament with almost the entire World Cup team competing in Goulburn.

NSW-based national team players Tamsin Bunt, Lisa Farrell and Kyah Gray are sure to impress in this final tournament before the upcoming World Cup in Germany.

NSW won eight of the 10 divisions last year, with Queensland the reigning champions in the Under-13 Girls and WA the reigning champions in the Under-21 Mens.
