Canterbury Bulldogs have launched a probe into their players' Mad Monday antics which saw players nude and grabbing their crotch in the centre of Sydney yesterday.
An end of season celebration at the Harbour View Hotel in The Rocks quickly escalated into a boozy rampage with pictures of at least one player completely naked in full public view.
Witnesses say they also saw a player squeezing his genitals.
Today the club admitted the display was 'unacceptable' and vowed to take action. The ARL integrity unit may also launch their own investigation.
'In regard to images from the team's get together on Monday, the club accepts that they were unacceptable and a poor reflection on the individuals involved and the club," said a media statement from the Bulldogs this morning.
"The players are aware of their responsibilities and the standards required when representing the club and yesterday's behaviour was unacceptable and a bad look for the game.
"The club will now work with all relevant stakeholders to gather information and fully review what took place yesterday.
"The club is also working closely with the NRL in regard to determining the next steps in this review."
