A matador has paid a heavy price after being gored by a bull in his backside.
Antonio Romero copped the heavy punishment yesterday in Mexico City when a bull gored him 29cm up his rectum.
Footage emerged of Romero goading the bull with a red cloth before the angry beast rears up, catching him on the arm and knocking him off balance.
The bull can be seen to savage Romero, rolling him across the ground like a rag doll.
Bullfighters come to his aid, ending the painful incident.
Romero was rushed to hospital with severe internal injuries.
