Canelo Alvarez bounced back from his loss to Mayweather in fine style at Vegas over the weekend.
Former WBC and WBA light middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez easily accounted for fellow Mexican and former interim WBO light middleweight champ Alfredo Angulo at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas over the weekend. Alvarez rebounded from the first loss of his career (to the legendary Floyd Mayweather) a few months back in fine fashion. Alvarez’ career record now stands at 43-1-1. His bout against Angulo was controversially stopped in the tenth round – far too early according to many boxing writers, who reported that Angulo, while beaten, was certainly fit enough to keep going.
