Carlton veteran Andrew Walker has announced his retirement from the AFL.
He will play his final match on Sunday against St Kilda at the MCG in what will be his 202nd top flight game.
The 30-year-old has battled a number of injuries throughout his career including chronic knee soreness which has had him sidelined since Round 16.
“Today I announce my retirement from the Carlton Football Club,” the former No.2 Draft Pick said on Tuesday.
“It’s been an incredible 13 years.”
Walker played just three full seasons with Carlton after suffering two shoulder dislocations, a broken collarbone and three operations on his left knee.
“Due to a few more injuries I can’t do my job anymore, finding it hard to get up every week,” Walker said.
He debuted against West Coast in 2004 and was contracted until the end of 2017.
Walker kicked 139 goals for Carlton.
