Perina Ting addressed the court in tears and told the Parramatta Local Court on Monday that Radradra punched her on the cheek at their Western Sydney unit in relation to an argument about her mother being unable to visit from Fiji.

Ms Ting said Radradra rang their pastor and requested he come to their apartment where he allegedly confessed “I used my hands on her” in Fijian.

Radradra has pleaded not guilty to two common assault charges.

The 24-year-old winger has signed a one-year deal with French Rugby club Toulon from the end of this year.

The NRL and Parramatta will determine any potential penalty following court proceedings.
