Fallen AFL star Ben Cousins says he is making progress with drug rehabilitation after being fined $2000 for breaching a VRO and drugs charges on Wednesday morning.
The 38-year-old Brownlow Medallist pleaded guilty to two drug offences and two breaches of a VRO in a Perth court.
He pleaded not guilty to two separate charges including a drugs charge from June and a breach of bail offence for failing to appear in court in November.
Magistrate Stephen Wilson instructed Cousins to continue his current treatment program, which includes seeing a psychiatrist.
Magistrate Wilson said another VRO breach could mean a mandatory prison sentence.
"You are absolutely no use to your children if you are absolutely wrecked," he said.

Mr Wilson said Cousins was staring down the barrel of the "greatest fall from grace of all time" and urged him to correct his ways.
"I'm actually in a better place than I have been for some time," Cousins said.
"I'm aware now of the severity of breaching the order.”
Cousins has battled drug addiction for much of his adult life and was kicked out of the AFL in 2007 for bringing the game into disrepute.
He subsequently made a comeback with Richmond in 2009 before retiring in 2010.
Cousins never failed a drug test throughout his 14-season AFL career.
