Police were called to a Parramatta address at 4.40pm Sunday to attend to an incident involving Edwards, 27, and a 26-year-old woman.

The incident reportedly occurred at 7am Sunday morning when Edwards allegedly poured water and alcohol on the woman during an argument and was subsequently charged with common assault and intimidation.

He was granted bail to face Parramatta Local Court today.
