Eels star Kenny Edwards has been given a six-month good behaviour bond after pleading guilty to common assault.
The 27-year-old was accused of pouring alcohol on his former partner following an argument last December.
An intimidation charge was dropped and no conviction was recorded at Paramatta Local Court on Monday.
Has previously been sacked by Manly and the Dragons.
He was also formerly found to have taken a drugs test for teammate Kaysa Pritchard.
At the time of his arrest, Eels boss Bernie Gurr said Edwards would continue to train and play until fronting court.
"The club views this incident as extremely serious and immediately alerted the NRL Integrity Unit, as per our normal process,"Gurr said.
