WATCH: Kentucky into NCAA final after thrilling one-point win over Wisconsin.
The lowest-seeded finalists in NCAA history will square-off Tuesday morning (Sydney time) after Kentucky won a thriller against Wisconsin at Arlington, Texas. How about this for a way of qualifying for the biggest game of your career? With scores locked at 71 with just 15 seconds left on the clock, Wisconsin landed two of three free-throws, before Kentucky raced down court in reply. Kentucky’s Aaron Harrison lived every college hoops star’s ultimate dream by landing the winning three-pointer with six seconds remaining (he performed a similar trick against Michigan, too). Wisconsin was unable to land its on-the-siren hail Mary shot, so Kentucky is through to the March Madness NCAA Championship game. Eighth-seeded Kentucky will face seventh-seeded Connecticut in the final (so THAT’S why millions of people have been talking about broken brackets lately … ) Here are some highlights we found on YouTube this morning.
