Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan says he’s interested in bringing Josh Reynolds to the Shire.
Reynolds is off-contract this year and is not expected to be re-signed by the Bulldogs.
The former NSW pivot is in his seventh season with Canterbury and helped the club to the 2012 and 2014 grand finals.
But it is understood the home of his entire NRL career will let him go with reports the 27-year-old is seeking $800,000 a season.

Should he leave, the premiership coach said he’d be lining up a chat.
“I’ve known Josh since he was a kid, we’re from the same junior club,” Flanagan told Channel Nine.
“I know his father and his mother so that’s where that interest comes from ... if he’s going to leave the Bulldogs, I’ll talk to him.
“He’s one of those players you look for, and if you need points, you throw the ball in Josh’s hands.”
