Former Dragons and Sharks forward Lance Thompson has tragically passed away at the age of 40.
Thompson, who played for St George Illawarra and Cronulla, was found dead in his home this morning.

Thomspon was an Australian Schoolboy in 1994 and 1995, and debuted for St George in 1995 as a 17-year-old.
The second-rower spent 11 years with the Red V, playing 201 games.
He joined the Sharks in 2006 and made 38 appearances before retiring in 2008.
Numerous members of the NRL community have paid tribute to Thompson.
