In response to some stunning upsets in the National Rugby League of late, on Dead In Goal this week we pay tribute to the best rugby league boilovers of all time.
Our Dead In Goal podcast dynamic duo of James Smith and Jeff Centenera have their own favourites, such as Canterbury’s unexpected victory over the high-flying Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the 1995 Winfield Cup Grand Final.
LISTEN TO DEAD IN GOAL HERE NOW:
Then there was lowly Parramatta’s boilover win over the star-studded Brisbane Broncos in the Queensland club’s first-ever game at QEII Stadium in 1993.
There are plenty more upset wins which have captured our collective imaginations over the years, and thanks to our loyal listeners, we cover just a handful of them in yet another almost-hour of jibber on our weekly rugby league podcast. RIP in!
