Former Parramatta Eels star Jarryd Hayne is in the process of being charged with aggravated sexual assault inflicting actual bodily harm over an alleged incident that happened on NRL grand final night.
Hayne allegedly travelled to the home of a woman from the Hunter Valley on September 30.NSW Police’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad have been investigating the matter.
On Monday afternoon Hayne turned himself in at Ryde Police station in Sydney, accompanied by his manager is now in custody while police quiz him over the alleged incident on September 30.
