Canterbury's backline has taken a massive hit with Will Hopoate and Kerrod Holland ruled out for four to six weeks.
Hopoate (fractured eye) and Holland (shoulder) were injured in Thursday night's 28-24 loss to the Sydney Roosters.
Hopoate had a head collision with Zane Tetevano in the second half and was rushed to hospital with scans revealing the damage.
Winger Holland injured his AC joint while scoring the side's first try.
Brett Morris is likely to move to fullback for Hopoate with coach Des Hasler set to scour his backline depth for another replacement.
