Past and present NRL stars joined hundreds in farewelling Chad Robinson on Tuesday morning.
Former Parramatta Eels and Sydney Roosters greats were littered throughout the crowd at Parramatta Marist High for Robinson’s funeral service.
The former Eels and Roosters player’s body was found in a car in northwest Sydney on December 22.
He had been missing for several weeks following a long battle with depression.
The 36-year-old’s children Kiara and Cooper wrote a thank you letter describing their admiration for their father.
"Words cannot express how broken-hearted we are that you were taken so early from us but we know you are at peace and resting easy now," the letter read.
"Until we see you again, know that we adore you, Daddy. Forever loving you."
The Eels and the Roosters have set up an education fund for Kiara and Cooper.
The GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign has so far raised more than $24,000.
