Sydney Roosters five-eighth Luke Keary is expected to be sidelined for at least a month after breaking his jaw at training.
Keary, who joined the Roosters from South Sydney at the start of 2017, accidentally collided with a teammate in training.
The playmaker took a knock to the face and is in doubt for round one of the new NRL season, according to Wide World of Sports.
Keary, who will partner Cooper Cronk in the halves at Bondi this year, will miss all of the Roosters trials.
The 25-year-old scored eight tries in 26 appearances last year.
