Parramatta won the match 22-10 and the game is being analysed by both police and the NRL on the back of suspicious betting activity.

The Seven Network reported one punter placed $18,000 in cash on the Eels — giving away four-and-a-half points start — and was rewarded with winnings of $41,000.

The Eels scored three tries in the final 12 minutes of the match.

Manly said it would continue to be transparent in all ongoing investigations.

"With regard to further unsubstantiated claims made today, the Club will continue to fully cooperate with both the NRL and NSW Police in their investigation," the club said in a statement.

Investigations are already underway regarding two matches from 2015, both involving Manly.

NSW Police’s Organised Crime Squad was looking into Manly’s 20-8 loss to the Rabbitohs in round 16 and their 20-16 loss to Parramatta in round 24 last year.

Manly completed just 21 of 40 sets in the 2015 match against Parramatta.

The Sea Eagles and the Eels will clash tonight at Pirtek Stadium.
