The Sea Eagles are set to sign Mitchell Pearce.
NRL.com reports Manly have struck a deal with the Warriors to offload five-eighth Blake Green in anticipation of Pearce’s arrival.
The Roosters halfback has two-years remaining on his current deal, however, Cooper Cronk’s looming arrival at Bondi has the 2013 premiership-winner understandably upset.
The Roosters have reportedly given Pearce a couple of days to consider his future.
Pearce would link with star Daly Cherry-Evans to form a formidable halves pairing.
Cronk is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Roosters with an announcement expected following Friday night’s clash between Australia and England.
