The AFL has announced the 2016 finalists for mark and goal of the year.
The winners in each category will be awarded at the Brownlow Medal Count at Crown Palladium on Monday, September 26.
Mark of the Year finalists are:
- Majak Daw (North Melbourne) – Round 18
- Joe Daniher (Essendon) – Round 16
- Rory Lobb (GWS GIANTS) - Round 11

Goal of the Year finalists are as follows:
- Eddie Betts (Adelaide Crows) – Round 10
- Shaun Atley (North Melbourne) – Round 11
- Lance Franklin (Sydney Swans) – Round 9
Fans can now view and vote for their favourite goal at https://goaloftheyear.afl.com.au

AFL fans who vote go into the draw to win the major cash prize of $5000.
At the conclusion of the home and away season, the AFL’s All-Australian Selection Committee selected the best three goals and marks from a selection of 28 (the 23 weekly winners, along with five other contenders as determined by the AFL Media footy expert selectors).
The best three in each category were based on a 5/4/3/2/1 vote given by each member of the selection committee.
