Thriller in the capital and the Eels lose again.
Even with the representative season now in full swing, the NRL didn't disappoint with three cracking games and still one more to come tonight. On Friday night, in wet conditions a man-of-the-match performance by Luke Keary helped the Rabbitohs snatch a 14-12 victory over a demoralised Eels side, still reeling from the effects of the recent salary cap drama. On Saturday night, it was dubbed the 10 year anniversary of the 2005 Grand Final between the Tigers and Cowboys but unfortunately did not reach the heights of 2005 for the Tigers, with a depleted Cowboys side proving they are the real deal once again keeping the Tigers scoreless in a 8-NIL victory. Finally, Sunday afternoon footy in the nations capital proved a real treat. With the game entering in the final minutes a Josh Reynolds field goal proved to be the difference to ensure the Bulldogs take home the two points after giving up a 26 point lead. In tonights Monday night football the Broncos make the trip to the Hunter to take on the Knights to conclude round 11.
Rabbitohs 14 def. Eels 12
Tigers 0 def. by Cowboys 8
Raiders 34 def. by Bulldogs 41
