Sam Powell-Pepper, a young Port Adelaide midfielder is currently under investigation after he was accused of reaching under the skirt of a woman at an Adelaide bar.

In a statement, Port Adelaide confirmed that an investigation was underway into the incident, which is alleged to have occurred on Sunday morning.

“Port Adelaide are investigating an allegation one of their players was involved in an incident at an Adelaide bar on Sunday morning,” they said.

“The club has advised the AFL and will not be making further comment until it has all the information at hand.”

It appears unlikely Port Adelaide will suspend the midfielder for their upcoming clash against Essendon. South Australian police have received no complaint over the incident.
