With the Aussie PGA Championship getting serious, here’s some comedic relief.
The domestic tournament schedule has been pulled forward thanks to the World Cup of Golf coming to our shores. Australia’s stars of the course, led by Adam Scott, break in a new venue for the Australian PGA Championship (Nov 7-10), having left Clive Palmer and Coolum’s dinosaur for Royal Pines on the Gold Coast. Scott defends a week later at the Talisker Masters (Nov 14-17), having won that jacket as well last year. The venue in 2013 is Royal Melbourne, and it should draw some players as the lead-in to the World Cup, with American stalwart Matt Kuchar confirmed. The Champions on Fox Sports, Perth International and Masters on Seven, and PGA across One and Ten. In the meantime, here’s a really funny video of Rory McIlroy playing washing machine golf against a cheeky robot.
