Sea Eagles centre Matthew Wright has broken his left hand at training.
Wright is considered invaluable to Manly’s season as stalwart and fellow centre Steve Matai looks down the barrel of forced retirement.
The Sea Eagles hope Wright can return to the training paddock in a month or so.

Matai is yet to resume training due to ongoing neck and shoulder problems.
He and Brett Stewart, who is suffering a knee injury, are yet to receive clearance to return to training.
Both are considered long shots to return to the NRL.
