Many, many thanks to our readers and visitors to this website who took the time to enter our awesome "The Last Gladiators" DVD competition. To be in the running to win one of five copies of this terrific sports documentary thanks to Via Vision Entertainment, entrants had to tell us in 20 words or less what they thought was the toughest sport in the world and why.

The Last Gladiators, by Academy Award-winning director Alex Gibney, is a documentary portrait of Montreal Canadian Chris Nilan and other hockey enforcers who stomped the ice during the sport’s most brutal era. The film illustrates the highs and lows, ravages and fallings-out suffered due to the unique role these guys played for their teams.

The answers below have earned their entrants a copy of "The Last Gladiators". Congratulations guys!

If you were unlucky this time around, make sure you enter one of the other competitions currently running on our website. And there are more comps on the way, so stay tuned.
