As quickly as news spread around the golfing universe of Tiger Woods’ option of surgery over a 2014 attempt at a fifth Masters title, that old debate which surrounds any tournament that Tiger misses returned: what will the damage be without Woods competing? The Masters event hasn’t known life without the golfing mega-star for the last two decades; a pinched nerve, which has been troubling him since mid-2013, breaking a long run of appearances which the golfing industry has well and truly benefited from. Here, PGA Tour interviews a bunch of Woods’ fellow golfers in the lead-up to the Masters to gauge their reaction to the absence of the world number-one.
