Tigers coach Ivan Cleary said that he looked forward to having McQueen join the club at the end of the year.

“I’m really looking forward to having Chris on board for the next three seasons,” he said, “Not only does he bring plenty of experience with him, he is also an extremely consistent player.

“It’s clear that Chris has greatly helped the Titans’ young players develop on and off the field in the past few years, and that will no doubt be a strong asset at this club too.

“Knowing how hard Chris works and how team-focussed he is, I’m sure it won’t take long for Wests Tigers Members and fans to really appreciate him and regard him as a fan-favourite," said Cleary.

McQueen has played 145 games since making his debut for the Rabbitohs in 2009 and won a premiership with the team in 2014.

He has been with the Gold Coast Titans for the last two seasons. The 30 year old has played six State of Origin games for Queensland and was a part of the Prime Minister’s XIII teams in 2011 and 2015, as well as the 2017 All Stars match earlier this year.

The deal is belived to be worth $1.2 million.
