Bernard Tomic has been evicted from the US Open after a first round loss likely dropping him to 147th in the world.
It was his first match since being fined $US15,000 after stating he was “a little bored” during his opening round Wimbledon loss.
Tomic showed little in New York and went down 3-6 6-3 6-4 6-4 to 19th seed Gilles Muller.
Tomic was once ranked No.17 with the 24-year-old’s career now hanging in the balance.
