The 166km second stage saw riders, travel from Utrecht to Zeeland. The stage was won by German André Greipel as he pipped Slovakian rider, Peter Sagan to the line. Unfortunately for Aussie Rohan Dennis the yellow jersey changed hands and he slipped off the leading pack as Swiss rider, Fabian Cancellara took a three second lead over closet rival German Tony Martin.

The third stage of the tour moves the tour into Belgium starting in Antwerp where riders will travel 159.5km where they will finish in Huy.
