We put the latest in running wizardry to the test.
Global performance running footwear and apparel brand Saucony pulls no punches in writing the next chapter of its performance innovation success story. Maintaining its relentless commitment to elevating the running experience through innovation, the brand announced today the launch of Saucony EVERUN™.
EVERUN DELIVERS TWO KEY BENEFITS
Lowers Peak Pressures: EVERUN’s patent-pending Topsole construction process positions a 3mm layer of Saucony’s revolutionary EVERUN foam material closer to the foot, directly under the sockliner, instead of embedding it in the midsole below a layer of rigid cement. This construction process distributes propulsion force over more area, reducing local peak pressures while delivering a dramatically more lively and responsive ride.
Absorbs Impact: The EVERUN Landing Zone and heel insert provide remarkable impact protection, maintaining cushioning properties three times longer than standard EVAs while returning 83 per cent of the energy absorbed, according to research in the Saucony Human Performance and Innovation Lab.
Typical EVA foam heats up, getting softer the longer the run ... and just when the body fatigues and needs impact-protection the most. The EVERUN technology addresses this breakdown of cushioning and joint protection in running shoes during the course of a run.
The new Triumph ISO 2, the successor to the Triumph ISO, is the brand’s super-plush neutral trainer now featuring a full-length EVERUN Topsole and EVERUN Landing Zone, TRI-FLEX outsole and ISOFIT upper.
The Triumph ISO 2 combines Saucony’s latest running innovations into one dynamic, lightweight package. It is best-suited for neutral runners seeking a high degree of underfoot cushioning. It boasts increased energy return courtesy of brand new EVERUN Cushioning Technology and a glove-like fit across the upper.
The Triumph ISO 2 is all about pushing forward with new innovation with the goal of delivering an elevated experience to each and every runner who laces up. Supreme cushioning, a smooth and fluid ride, and a conforming, supportive upper fit are the calling cards that make the Saucony Triumph ISO 2 the benchmark in the premium neutral silo.

INSIDE SPORT'S VIEW ...
Saucony is back with its latest innovation in running technology. Building on the success of the Triumph ISO, here comes the ISO 2 featuring Saucony's new Everun continuous cushioning tech. I am a big fan of the Triumph ISO. The fact Saucony has kept the ISOFIT upper with the smooth, snug fit and extensive toe box is a great decision. It feels softer and livelier underfoot with the Everun technology throughout the midsole and at the heel as well. Saucony has managed to keep the weight down without making the shoe feel at all cumbersome. I am yet to clock any serious mileage in them, but if this shoe maintains its cushioning over time as Saucony suggests, then it’s definitely another step in the right direction developing on what was already a great model. A good cruiser for road mileage. - Ryan, Inside Sport team member.
