Matt Ballin went off during a team meeting following the sacking of Jason Taylor, an insider has revealed.
Ballin, 33, was recruited by Taylor at the end of 2015 after being let go by Manly, with which he won two premierships.
Tim Grant, Joel Edwards and Elijah Taylor were also extremely upset over Taylor's treatment.
Known as an old-school straight-talker, Ballin reportedly made his dissatisfaction at Taylor’s treatment known infront of the playing group and staff.
Taylor was sacked following the club’s 46-6 loss to the Raiders, leaving experts mystified after the Tigers backed him through massive changes including the moving-on of Wests legend and former captain Robbie Farah.
Ballin has played just two games for the Tigers due to injury.
He has been named on the bench for Sunday's match against the Dragons.
