The LA Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks turned on the biff overnight … And they’re coming to OZ!
In case you missed the news, it’s just been announced that the famed Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks will open the 2014 Major League Baseball season at our own iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. They’ll play two games at the SCG, on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23.
By some amazing coincidence, these two teams were caught up in some major fisticuffs overnight, as they went tit-for-tat with wild pitches which hit opposing batters either on the back or on the nose. Maybe MLB promoters saw the meek reaction to the Paul Gallen tirade on Nate Myles in Origin last week and encouraged these two baseball outfits to replicate it to help them promote the game Down Under? (That last part was a joke … )
