Super sisters go one-two at Australian championships.

They’re two swimmers in the prime of their careers, but it didn’t appear there was any rivalry between sisters Cate and Bronte Campbell in the lead-up to their 100m freestyle final at the Australian championships in Adelaide.
Five times the sisters had gone head-to-head in swimming’s prestigious 100m freestyle at major events; Bronte was the victor at last year’s world championships, however Cate had come out on top in the other four meetings.
23-year-old Cate, the winner on this occasion, clocked the fastest time in the world this year - 52.38 seconds; both swimmers edging out the inform Emma McKeon (third).
Indeed, the girls from Brisbane came close to setting a new world record, just missing out on beating Britta Steffen’s 2009 milestone. But it didn’t seem to matter to the Campbells, who - as can be seen in the video below - were just excited about being Rio-bound together.
