Novak Djokovic has been evicted from the Olympics after falling to Juan Martin del Potro in straight sets.
Djokovic left the court in tears following the 7-6 7-6 first round loss which saw the top seed crash out of Rio.
DeL Potro was lucky to even make it to the court after the Argentine was stuck in a lift for 40 minutes prior to the match following a power outage at the athletes village.
A top seed hasn’t won the men’s singles tennis at an Olympic Games since Andre Agassi claimed gold in Atlanta in 1996.
