Mitchell Johnson has slammed the pink ball game as Australia sets upon the Gabba for the day-night Test against Pakistan.
Johnson never played the modified version of the long game format having retired 10 days prior to the first ever day-night Test.
Today’s opening Test against Pakistan marks just the fourth pink ball fixture with a recently released schedule confirming Australia will play England in a day-night Ashes fixture in the 2017-18 summer.
Not that Johnson is excited.
"Hate it,” he told Fox Sports.
“It's not Test cricket.”
