Michael Maguire says he not yet made up his mind on who will direct the Wests Tigers around the field next season.
Maguire has replaced Ivan Cleary at the helm at the club.
The Tigers have a number of players competing for their spine positions, with Benji Marshall, Luke Brooks and Josh Reynolds vying for a spot in the halves.
Robbie Farah and Jacob Liddle are pushing to start at hooker, while Moses Mbye, Corey Thompson and youngster Dylan Smith are options at fullback.
"I wouldn't have a clue," Maguire told AAP in England.
"I’ll just go back there, sit down with them and have a talk on how we want to build our game first.
"I have spoke to all of them and they’re very selfless people – they just all want to have that club succeed. That’s the biggest thing that I got out of the conversation.
"They’ll do whatever it takes to make sure that club goes up because they want to have success, because they’re a very hungry group."
The Tigers have gone through coach after coach since Tim Sheens left the joint venture in 2012.
But Maguire is keen to end that revolving door.
"I thought that’s what we’re meant to do," the ex-Rabbitohs coach said.
"I want to build that club and make it very strong. To be able to do that over a long, long period of time is something that I always aspire to do."
