Manly have softened the blow of losing gun Siosia Vave by signing giant Warriors forward Shaun Lane to a two-year deal.
Lane burst on to the scene last year with the Bulldogs but has struggled for game time this season.
The 198cm/ 110kg backrower oozes potential, and at just 21, could well hit his stride on the Northern Beaches.
The Sea Eagles will hope Lane fires in 2017 as the club comes to terms with losing a swag of talent including Jamie Lyon (retirement), Tim Moltzen (retirement), as well as the mid-season losses of Tom Symonds (Huddersfield), Feleti Mateo and Luke Burgess (both Salford).
Vave, arguably Manly’s best forward this year, will join Parramatta in 2017 on a two-year deal.

The likely retirements of club legends Brett Stewart and Steve Matai will only compound the Sea Eagles' woes which have struggled in 2016 and sit in 12th place.
The Sea Eagles were tipped to be the big improvers of 2016 on the back of a strong recruitment drive that saw the signings of Martin Taupau, Nate Myles, Darcy Lussick, Dylan Walker and the re-signing of Daly Cherry-Evans, but the club has fallen way short of the mark.
After 10 straight finals series, Manly will miss the semis for the second consecutive year.
