Tigers gun Mitchell Moses is asking for an immediate release to switch to the Parramatta Eels.
He knocked back a $3 million three-year offer to remain at Wests Tigers just two days after new coach Ivan Cleary told the Tigers players they needed to decide on their futures.
Moses may switch to the Eels next season and is contracted for 2017.
Whether the Tigers let him go now or make him play out the season remains to be seen.
Halves partner Luke Brooks has signed a $1.1 million two-year deal until the end of 2019.
James Tedesco and Aaron Woods remain off-contract.
More to come.
