Reports are circling Josh Reynolds has been told he is not wanted at the Bulldogs in 2018.
The half signed a four-year extension with Canterbury in 2013 and has played all his NRL football at Belmore.
The 27-year-old was once considered one of the premier halves of the NRL after making four appearances for NSW between 2013-14.
He is said to have been shopped around to other clubs with an asking price of $800,000 a season which the Bulldogs refuse to meet.
The Eels are believed to be considering signing Reynolds to partner Corey Norman from next year.
