Tony Williams is set to make his long-awaited NRL debut for the Sharks after backrower Luke Lewis was ruled out with a hamstring injury.
The T-Rex is expected to line-up against the Tigers on Saturday.
Williams has been in the NRL wilderness for almost a year after he was dropped to reserve grade by Bulldogs coach Des Hasler mid-way through 2016.
He was handed a lifeline from Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan in the form of a minimal one-year deal.
Williams was once considered one of the most damaging forwards in the game and helped Manly claim the 2011 premiership.
Australian and NSW caps followed as well as a massive four-year deal with Canterbury.
However, the 28-year-old was guilty of going missing during matches.
