Cowboys co-captains Matt Scott and Johnathan Thurston missed Monday’s NRL Finals launch.
Both are injured with Thurston succumbing to a corked thigh in Saturday’s win against the Titans while Scott is battling a broken finger.
Barnstorming Cowboys forward Jason Taumalolo represented the club at the launch.
The Cowboys open their finals campaign against the Storm in Melbourne on Saturday night.
