The glittering career of Mitchell Johnson came to end after the drawn second test against New Zealand at Johnson's home ground, the WACA.

The 6' 2" fast bowler received his first baggy green cap in 2007 and went onto play a further 72 Tests for Australia taking 313 wickets.

Below are some of Johnson's greatest moments from his eight year career.

One of the greatest Ashes rivalries, Mitchell Johnson and Stuart Broad always gave 100% when they faced one another, but the most emphatic victory was when Johnson tore through the entire English team during the summer of 2013-14.

In his final International ODI, Johnson took 3-30 off just nine overs against the Black Caps, to win the World Cup on home soil.

Johnson scored his only Test century in 2009 against South Africa in Cape Town, where he smashed 11 fours and five sixes on his way to 123*.
