Few clubs survive without an army of tireless volunteers to keep things ticking over and equestrian activities are no exception.
Each month, Equestrian Australia turns the spotlight on an inspiring and hardworking volunteer who makes a difference to the sport.
In September last year, it was the turn of university student Bec Radny from WA to get a well-deserved pat on the back.

Equestrian Australia writes: “Bec volunteers in an unofficial capacity as the social media guru for the Equestrian Australia Endurance Committee by sending out Facebook blasts to the endurance membership. She dedicates approximately 10 hours a week to this role and still finds time to study for her Master Degree at the University of Melbourne. Bec has also written many ex gratia articles for many years, for nationwide magazines, to promote the sport of endurance to the wider equestrian community.”
