The Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour begins this week with a 35-car field led by 115 drivers from 22 countries and major GT3 storylines, including Ford and Chevrolet debuts.
With Mount Panorama set to roar into life this week (13–15 February), organisers have confirmed the final entry list for the 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, a 35-car grid spanning Pro, Pro-Am, Silver, Bronze, GT4 and Invitational categories.
The depth is evident at the front, with a 15-car Pro class and a driver roster that includes nine previous Bathurst 12 Hour winners (15 wins between them), alongside major international GT and endurance champions highlighted in the release.
The 2026 edition also brings fresh factory flavour: Ford and Chevrolet will make their outright-category debuts, headlined by HRT Ford Racing’s Mustang GT3 and Johor Motorsports Racing’s Corvette Z06 GT3.R entries.
There’s a welcome return, too, with McLaren back in GT3 at Bathurst via the Optimum Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 EVO, while star power remains strong through the likes of Valentino Rossi in Team WRT’s BMW M4 GT3 EVO.
On the local front, the release flags a reunited Jamec Racing/Team MPC Audi effort featuring Brad Schumacher, Will Brown and Christopher Haase, adding another proven combination to a Pro field shaped by both international aces and Australian headline acts.
This year's race is covered extensively in the 2026 12 Hour magazine available from newsagents nationally or via here
